It’s been 10 long years since we last saw the Men in Black but they’re back again in 2012. MIB 3 was delayed several times by script re-writes and production delays but with a budget of $215 million, the movie is finally wrapped up and ready for its May 25th premiere date. After all, the first two MIB films took in over $1 billion worldwide – it was only a matter of time before another movie got made.
Stars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are back, along with Josh Brolin playing a younger version of Jones’ Agent K. The main plotline of MIB 3 involves Agent J travelling back in time to 1969 to stop a bad-ass alien from assassinating Agent K.

MovieGoods has Dark Shadows movie posters in stock now! A dozen different poster styles to choose from.
Dark Shadows is based on a cult TV show of the same name, which originally aired from 1966 through 1971. The series was a Gothic soap opera following the lives of the Collins family who lived in a creepy hilltop mansion called Collinwood in Collinsport, Maine. The show featured ghosts, goblins, werewolves, zombies and man-made monsters – expect much of the same in the movie version. This has the look of a big hit – watch for it in theatres this May.
HBO’s popular series True Blood is returning for Season 5 this summer. No official premiere date has been announced yet (its likely to debut in June though) but the buzz is building, in part because HBO has released some new teaser trailers.
One of the big storyline questions to be addresses in Season 5 is whether Tara is dead or not. From the teasers, we can also see that it’s evident that the recurring themes of sex and violence will remain ever-present in the series. And vampire lawlessness may be running rampant even more in this season than in previous ones. Check out the trailers below to get yourself pumped up for a new season of True Blood!

Prior to 2012, 21 Jump Street was best known as a little TV show that featured some unknown kid named Johnny Depp, airing back in the late 1980s in the early days of the FOX Network.
Now the fondly remembered but somewhat obscure TV series is getting a reboot as a Hollywood movie release.
Opening in theatres on March 16th, the 21 Jump Street movie stars recent Oscar nominee Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum as a pair of police officers sent undercover as high school students trying to take down a drug ring. Although there will certainly be lots of action and crime, the movie is being played primarily as a comedy. The comedy is targeted at adults, who likely remember the original TV series, as the film is R rated.
2012 is going to be a big year at the movies, including the long awaited return of James Bond to the big screen. Daniel Craig is returning as the Agent 007 in Skyfall, scheduled for release in early November.
As production continues, some plot details from Skyfall are starting to emerge. Perhaps one of the most intriguing Skyfall tidbits is info that this is the last film with Judi Dench as M. Ralph Fiennes is in Skyfall as a government leader and word is his character will replace M as Bond’s trusted superior. Why the regime change? Is M simply retiring, or is M leaving due to some past misdeeds catching up to her and Bond no longer having the faith in her he once did? Also cast in Skyfall are Naomie Harris as Bond’s latest love interest, always a plumb Hollywood role.
It has also been revealed that Skyfall will be the first ever James Bond film to be released on IMAX screens. For more Skyfall plot details, check out the recent press conference video below:
