Seth Rogen as a superhero? Well apparently so and he is starring as The Green Hornet, coming to theatres in January, 2011.

There have been two trailers released so far for The Green Hornet and as expected with Rogen in the lead, it looks like there will be a strong comedy element to the film, more than a traditional all-action superhero movie. For those not familiar with the Hornet’s comic book story, the Hornet is a masked alter-ego crime fighter who is aided by Kato, his dead father’s former aidem (the role of Kato is being played by Jay Chou). The Hornet has no superhero powers so he utilizes super gadgets and high-tech devices, such as a gun that shoots green gas. Expect lots of laughs and adventure when The Green Hornet hits theatres on January 14, 2011 – it will be available in 3D. Click here for Green Hornet movie posters.
