When we think of sports movies, most Americans think of boxing and/or warm weather sports like football, golf and baseball. After all, many of the most treasured sports films of all-time focus on these sports, such as Raging Bull, The Blind Side, Caddyshack, Rocky and Bull Durham.
But with much of the country now into the full effect of winter, we take a look at some sports films that focus on winter sports. Some of our favorite films in this category include: Miracle, Downhill Racer, Cool Runnings, Slap Shot, Hoosiers, Mystery Alaska and Blades of Glory.
