Charlie Sheen to Get Comedy Central Roast

Tuesday, August 30th, 2011

Everyone’s favorite Hollywood car wreck Charlie Sheen is getting roasted next month on Comedy Central. Being promoted (and quite fittingly) as the ‘Crazy Train’, the latest Comedy Central roast premieres on September 19th. With no lack of topics for roasters to speak on, expect a great night of laughs at the expense of the former Two and a Half Men star.

Among the roasters at the event: Mike Tyson, Lisa Lampanelli, Jeffrey Ross and TMZ founder Harvey Levin. Perhaps one of the most interesting aspects of this TV event is it airs at the same time as the 2011 season premiere of Two and a Half Men, now featuring Ashton Kutcher in the starring role. The Men premiere episode features Sheen’s TV character getting killed off. The overnight TV ratings will provide the ultimate barometer of how many fans watched the top rated comedy because Sheen was on it.
