The much anticipated new season of HBO’s Game of Thrones is coming very soon.
The new season, the show’s second, starts on April 1st. The teaser posters for the first season of Game of Thrones had the tag line “Winter is Coming”; the season 2 posters feature the tag line “War is Coming”. Expect Season 2 posters to be in stock very soon at MovieGoods.

Another brand new poster image for 2012′s biggest movie The Dark Knight Rises has been released!
Director Christopher Nolan and star Christian Bale are back for their third and final Batman film. The reported production budget for this movie is a massive $250 M so expect lots of amazing stunts and special effects. Plot details for the film are being kept under wraps though but The Dark Knight Rises takes place 8 years after the last movie.
The new poster image is black and white, similar to the first Dark Knight Rises poster we saw released in 2011. It features Bale walking away in the rain, with his shattered Batman suit behind him. The tag line “The Legend Ends” is featured prominently. Once again, the artwork on this poster is excellent – a must-add collectible for any Dark Knight fan! James Bond, one of the most successful box office franchises in history, returns to the big screen later this year with the new Daniel Craig led film Skyfall. In addition, 2012 marks the 50th Anniversary of James Bond.
To celebrate this movie milestone, Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment have unveiled BOND 50, a collectible box-set featuring all 22 James Bond films on Blu-ray Disc for the first time in one complete offering. This set includes the debut of 9 James Bond films previously unavailable in high definition Blu-ray. Said Michael Brown, Senior Vice President of MGM Home Entertainment, “We have a whole program of exciting activities planned for our 50th anniversary year, beginning with the release of all 22 films on Blu-ray for the very first time”. 2011 is behind us now: we had lots of great movies during the year but there was also a fair number of disappoinments, reflected in total box office ticket sales being down for the year. However, 2012 is looking very bright as there are many exciting and highly anticipated releases on the schedule.
Doctor Who is one of TV’s longest running sci-fi series ever. Over on this side of the pond, it has long been a cult fave with fans.
Some interesting Doctor Who news recently surfaced: two episodes from the mid-1960′s that were believed to be lost forever have been rediscovered by the BBC. One episode is from 1965 and the other is from 1967. The rediscovered Doctor Who episodes, found in the collection of a former British television engineer, are planned for release on DVD next year. Exciting news for true Who fanatics!
