Universal Studios to Restore Classic Movies

2012 marks the 100th Anniversary of Universal Studios.
In addition to a new logo (shown above), Universal is celebrating with the restoration of 13 classic filme. The new logo above will first appear in the March release of The Lorax, and be used in each new film released after that date.
The thirteen classic films to be restored are:
- All Quiet on the Western Front
- The Birds
- Buck Privates
- Dracula (1931)
- Dracula (1931)
- Frankenstein
- Jaws
- Schindler’s List
- Out of Africa
- Pillow Talk
- Bride of Frankenstein
- The Sting
- To Kill a Mockingbird
Precise details of the restorations are yet to be revealed but the majority of the restorations are expected to be for Blu-Ray home video market, rather than theatrical re-releases.
